Sean “Diddy” Combs' Prison Release Advanced to Feb 23, 2028

Sean “Diddy” Combs, convicted of two counts of transporting women for prostitution under the Mann Act and sentenced to 50 months (four years, two months), will be released from the federal prison at FCI Fort Dix, New Jersey on February 23, 2028. The release date has been moved up several times, most recently a month earlier than the previously projected November 2028 date. The Bureau of Prisons cited good‑conduct time, and Combs has completed a rehabilitation program, therapy, and a mentoring initiative while incarcerated, leading officials to treat him as a model prisoner.

Victims in the case included Cassie Ventura and another woman who testified about sexual coercion and abuse. Combs’ conviction remains under appeal, and no official explanation has been provided for the repeated adjustments to his release schedule.
