Sean “Diddy” Combs' prison release date moved up to Feb 23 2028

Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, convicted in October 2025 on two counts of transporting persons for prostitution, is serving a 50‑month federal sentence at the low‑security Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey. His projected release date, originally set for June 2028, has been adjusted several times and is now listed by the Federal Bureau of Prisons as February 23 2028. The bureau has not explained the change, but legal analysts note that credits for good conduct and successful participation in the Residential Drug Abuse Program can shorten a federal term.

Combs continues to appeal the conviction and sentence, arguing the punishment is excessive. His legal team also seeks a reassessment of the underlying Mann Act charges, which he was acquitted of in July 2025. No official comment has been given by prison officials regarding the latest date adjustment.
