Sean “Diddy” Combs release date moved up to Feb 23 2028

The U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons has updated the projected release date for music producer Sean “Diddy” Combs to February 23 2028. This is the fourth adjustment this year, following earlier dates in June and April, and reflects accumulated good‑conduct and program credits.

Combs is serving a 50‑month federal sentence imposed in October 2025 after being convicted on two Mann Act counts for transporting persons for prostitution. He received credit for roughly 13‑14 months of pre‑sentencing detention and is housed at low‑security FCI Fort Dix, New Jersey, where he participates in a residential drug‑abuse program and other recidivism‑reduction courses that can further reduce his term. His legal team is pursuing an appeal of the convictions, while prosecutors continue to seek enforcement of the sentence.
