Sean Dyche says Manchester United is his dream managerial job

Former Burnley and Everton manager Sean Dyche told talkSPORT that Manchester United is the club he would most like to manage. He described United as a "massive, massive" organization with worldwide power, citing the growth the team experienced under Sir Alex Ferguson.

Dyche, who has been out of management since being dismissed by Nottingham Forest in February 2026 after just 114 days, said the job would be "massively difficult" but he would relish the opportunity. The interview came as Manchester United continue to reshape their squad, having confirmed the signings of midfielders Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans and goalkeeper Karl Darlow, while also scouting additional midfield, wing‑back and striker options.

The comments add to ongoing speculation about United's future managerial appointments, with the club currently led by Oliver Glasner after Vitor Pereira’s brief tenure.
