Sean Fitzgerald Returns to Galway GAA and Mulls Podcast After Love Island

Sean Fitzgerald, a Galway native who rose to fame on ITV's Love Island 2026, rejoined his local Gaelic football club Barna. He was named in the starting lineup for Barna's first-round match in the Galway Senior Football Championship, later coming on as a substitute and helping the team secure a 0‑14 to 0‑11 victory over Caltra.

Since leaving the reality‑TV villa, Fitzgerald has been spotted at the Galway Races with his partner Lola Young. He has spoken about possible new projects, including a podcast with Young and potential TV appearances such as Dancing with the Stars. Prior to his TV stint, he worked as a primary‑school teacher and now aims to bring humour to Ireland through media work.
