Sean “Fitzy” Fitzgerald Announces Relationship with Lola Deal

Sean “Fitzy” Fitzgerald, the Galway-born contestant from the reality series Love Island, confirmed that he and fellow islander Lola Deal are now a couple. He posted an Instagram photo of the pair on a bed surrounded by red balloons that read “Will you be my girlfriend?” and wrote that she is “officially a WAG.” Lola replied that she is the “happiest girl alive.”

The couple met on the first day of Love Island, stayed together throughout the show and left the villa a week before the finale. After the announcement they attended the Galway Races, and Fitzy played for his local GAA club Barna in the Galway Senior Football Championships, with Lola on the sidelines. They later visited the Aran Islands together. Lola, a Kent native, said she plans to move to Ireland to be with Fitzy.
