Sean McCann aims for 2028 Olympic swimming debut

Sean McCann, the brother of Madeleine McCann, is pursuing a career in competitive swimming with the goal of competing in the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. Sean was two years old when his sister disappeared from an apartment in Praia da Luz, Algarve, in May 2007.

Currently studying chemical engineering at Loughborough University, Sean has established himself as a specialist in the 400, 800, and 1500-meter freestyle events. Following encouraging results while competing for Scotland at the Commonwealth Games, he is now aiming for selection for the United Kingdom team, likely focusing on the 400-meter event.
