Sean McDermott predicts Bills vs. Rams Super Bowl matchup

Former Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott has predicted a Super Bowl LXI matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the Los Angeles Rams. Despite being dismissed in January after nine seasons with the franchise, McDermott expressed continued faith in the team’s ability to reach the championship by the end of the 2026 season.

McDermott, who led the Bills to a .662 winning percentage between 2017 and 2025, noted that the organization now possesses the necessary tools to succeed. He specifically highlighted the leadership of his successor, Joe Brady, the former offensive coordinator, whom McDermott praised for his familiarity with the team's culture and roster.

The Bills have bolstered their lineup during the offseason, including the acquisition of wide receiver DJ Moore to support quarterback Josh Allen, as well as additions such as Bradley Chubb and Chauncey Gardner-Johnson to strengthen the defense.
