Sean O'Malley hits fan with hat during Noche UFC walkout

Former UFC bantamweight champion Sean O'Malley revealed that he threw his hat at an intoxicated fan during the walkout for teammate Tommy McMillen at Noche UFC.

O'Malley stated in a YouTube video that a spectator had been hurling insults at McMillen for approximately two minutes while the team was in the walkway. In response, O'Malley balled up his hat and struck the fan in the face as the team walked toward the Octagon.

McMillen, who secured a unanimous decision victory over Marwan Rahiki during the event, is a rising featherweight fighter. O'Malley noted that while he briefly felt bad after the fan later attempted to reassure him, the decision to react was prompted by the continuous verbal abuse directed at his teammate.
