Sean Solomon to release deluxe edition of debut album

Musician and animator Sean Solomon is releasing a deluxe edition of his debut record, ‘The World Is Not Good Enough’, on October 16, 2026. The album, released via Anti/Epitaph, features an indie folk and lo-fi sound, incorporating hand-drawn pencil animations and archival family footage.

The project serves as a deeply personal exploration of Solomon’s experiences with mental health, sobriety, and personal trauma. The deluxe release will include VHS renditions of the songs, available both digitally and on physical tape.

Singer-songwriter Shannon Lay, a longtime friend and former roommate of Solomon, contributes backup vocals to the record. The two artists, both based in Los Angeles, have maintained a close creative and personal bond since meeting while living together.
