SEAPAL Vallarta launches school water fountain program

SEAPAL Vallarta has launched its School Water Fountain program for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning with the installation of modern infrastructure at the Cuauhtémoc Federal Primary School in the San Esteban neighborhood. The initiative provides students and the educational community with free access to purified, cold water.

Carlos Ruiz Hernández, Director General of SEAPAL Vallarta, stated that the infrastructure offers benefits beyond hydration, such as reducing the daily cost for families to purchase bottled water and contributing to environmental protection by allowing students to refill thermoses. School director Lucio Castellanos Valadez noted that the project provides an economic benefit to families and staff while addressing essential hydration needs.
