Seara culture superintendent Elaine Aigner Benetti dies at 58

Elaine Fátima Aigner Benetti, the superintendent of Culture for Seara in western Santa Catarina, Brazil, has died at the age of 58. She passed away in the early hours of Friday, October 16, at Hospital São Roque.

Benetti had been battling cancer for several years. Despite the progression of her illness, she chose to remain active in her professional role, continuing to lead the Casa da Cultura de Seara. Under her leadership, the institution gained national recognition through participation in festivals and presentations in locations such as Joinville and Bento Gonçalves.

She is survived by her husband and son. Following tributes at the Capela Raquel Evangelista in Seara, her body will be taken to the Crematório São Judas Tadeu in Videira.
