Seara projects food service growth six times above market average
Seara Food Solutions projects that its sales volume in the food service channel will grow in 2026 at a rate six times higher than the estimated market average. The company's strategy focuses on small and medium-sized establishments, which currently account for approximately 80% of the unit's client portfolio.
The Seara Food Solutions division, established in 2019, serves 100,000 clients directly and indirectly and has seen a 50% increase in revenue over the last three years. This growth comes amid a broader expansion in the sector; the Brazilian Association of the Food Industry (Abia) projects real sales growth of 2% to 2.5% for the sector in 2026, while the Brazilian Association of Bars and Restaurants (Abrasel) estimates the food service market will reach R$ 540 billion in 2026.
Joice Fernandes, director of Seara Food Solutions, stated that the goal was to transform the food service division into a dedicated business unit with its own strategy and management to better understand and serve diverse client profiles, ranging from independent restaurants to large chains.
