Search continues for missing 72-year-old Alicia Galarza

Search efforts continue for 72-year-old Alicia Galarza, who has been missing since Tuesday afternoon. Approximately 35 volunteers, including family members and neighbors, have been scouring fields and wooded areas near the Callejón de la Cortada sector and the Arroyo El Rey stream.

The search is being hampered by difficult terrain, weak telephone signal, low temperatures, and rain. While a drone was used to survey a five-kilometer radius and firefighters worked alongside a search dog, no traces of Galarza have been found. Her family noted that she suffers from Alzheimer's and reported her disappearance to the police on Tuesday morning.
