Search continues for missing fisherman in Chaco, Argentina

Police in Chaco are continuing the search for a 32-year-old man who disappeared in the Bermejo River near Pampa del Indio. The incident occurred after a boat carrying four people capsized, causing all occupants to fall into the water. While three individuals managed to swim to the shore, the fourth remains missing and is presumed drowned.

Search operations involved fire departments from Resistencia, General San Martín, and Juan José Castelli. Teams conducted boat patrols along seven kilometers of coastline and utilized specialized equipment to search the area where the man was last seen. Divers also performed underwater searches in sections of the river reaching depths of three to five meters. As of Saturday morning, search efforts involving specialized and scientific personnel are expected to continue.
