Search Continues for Missing Louisiana Mother Danielle Lea and Daughter Alayna

Louisiana authorities are seeking information on 39‑year‑old Danielle Escue Lea and her 10‑year‑old daughter Alayna Lea, who were reported missing on July 28, 2026. The pair, residents of East Feliciana Parish, were last seen in the community of Butte La Rose in late April or early May and are believed to be in St. Martin Parish.

Investigators say the mother and child may have been with 42‑year‑old James Michael Nona of Texas, who was later arrested on unrelated charges. The St. Martin Parish Sheriff’s Office has asked the public to call 337‑394‑3071 with any tips, or to contact St. Martin Crime Stoppers anonymously at 337‑441‑3030 or via the P3 app.
