Search for Minister Eugenia Roccella's Husband Continues at Lake Vico

The husband of Italy's family minister, Eugenia Roccella, has been missing in Lake Vico since a boat outing on 27 June. On the 27th day of the operation, the search remains fruitless despite extensive efforts.

Teams of divers from Ravenna, Cagliari, Reggio Calabria and water‑craft rescuers are joined by topographic experts and drones from the Rome provincial command. Firefighters from across Italy rotate using sonar, robots and other high‑tech equipment to map the murky lake floor, where algae and silt hinder visibility. The operation is coordinated by a local command unit, but no decisive clue has been found so far.
