Search for Missing 75‑Year‑Old Aimi̱lia Georgalaki Continues in Chania, Greece

Aimi̱lia Georgalaki, a 75‑year‑old woman with advanced dementia, vanished on 23 July after leaving her home in Nea Chora, Chania, en route to the church of Agia Aikaterini. She was last confirmed near the Chania police station on the morning of 24 July.

The Red Cross of Chania has deployed a search team, including volunteers and a drone unit, to scan the area where she was last seen. Authorities and family members continue to appeal for information, urging the public to check gardens, garages, storage areas and any concealed spots that might hold clues. Her brother, Manolis Mavroulakis, has publicly asked anyone with relevant details to contact the police or the Red Cross hotline immediately.
