Search for Savannah Guthrie’s mother Nancy Guthrie expands to Mexico

Nancy Guthrie, 84, vanished from her home near Tucson in February. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said investigators found signs of a forced entry and blood at the scene, suggesting a kidnapping. The sheriff’s office assigned homicide detectives and issued a $1 million reward for information. On June 8 the department arrested two men and a YouTuber who were loitering near the house and disrupting the neighborhood, citing public‑order violations.

Volunteer searchers from Buscando Corazones Nogales, a Mexican missing‑persons group, received an anonymous tip about a possible burial site close to the Arizona border. The team began a thorough search and uncovered 25 unmarked graves, though none were identified as Guthrie’s remains. The lead has not been confirmed by U.S. authorities, and the investigation continues as Savannah Guthrie maintains public appeals for any new information.
