Search intensifies for missing Kasriel Nachman Keinan

Search operations are intensifying for Kasriel Nachman Keinan, a 24-year-old Chabad student who disappeared while traveling north from Beit Shemesh. Police, volunteers, and divers have focused their efforts on the Tiveria area and the Kinneret.

Keinan had intended to travel to Tzfas for an urgent consultation with his rabbi. His last confirmed contact occurred around 10:00 p.m. when he spoke with his rabbi via telephone. During that call, Keinan mentioned his phone battery was running low before communication ceased entirely.

His family has expressed significant concern regarding potential foul play. His father, Yossi Keinan, stated, “I’m afraid someone kidnapped my son. It’s a dangerous area. He didn’t just disappear and stop making contact.” Investigators are currently reviewing security footage from local businesses to trace his final movements.
