Search resumes for missing man Ruben Martin in Acqualagna

Search operations have resumed for Ruben Martin, a 59-year-old man of Argentine origin living in Fano, Italy, who has been missing since August 6. Rescue teams, including the Carabinieri, Firefighters, and Civil Protection volunteers, have concentrated their efforts in the Farneta area within the municipality of Acqualagna.

The renewed search follows reports received in early September suggesting the area as a possible point of interest, including sightings of a person matching Martin's description. Investigators have been inspecting local farmhouses and wells.

Several unusual details surround the disappearance. When Martin was last seen, his scooter remained parked near his home, and his apartment was left with the lights, air conditioning, and a washing machine running. Most notably, he left behind his dog and several valuable items, leading his legal representative, Elena Fabbri, to state that a voluntary departure remains difficult to explain.
