Search underway for missing man in South Jersey after nor'easter
Authorities and family members are searching for 38-year-old Michael Clemens, who went missing in South Jersey during a recent nor'easter. Clemens, a resident of suburban Philadelphia, was last seen at approximately 10:38 am on a Saturday morning cleaning a dock in the Benny's Landing neighborhood of Middle Township.
Clemens, who has a mobility impairment that causes him to walk with a limp, disappeared from a waterfront property near Cape May Court House. While his belongings were discovered on a picnic table on the dock, there is no immediate evidence to suggest he fell into the bay, despite significant tidal flooding in the Jenkins Sound area during the storm.
The local police and the Coast Guard are involved in the search efforts. His family is appealing to the public for any tips or observations that might assist in locating him.
