Searchdog selected for TIPS program to expand industrial AI

Searchdog, an AI startup specializing in large-scale industrial data, has been selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' TIPS (Tech Incubator Program for Startups) program. This selection brings the company's cumulative investment and support funds to 4 billion won, following a $750,000 seed round and 2 billion won from the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund.

The company develops a domain intelligence platform that analyzes massive text documents, such as contracts and specifications, and integrates them with 2D drawings and 3D Building Information Modeling (BIM). This technology allows engineers to automatically cross-reference design drawings against building codes and client requirements to identify omissions, conflicts, or regulatory violations.

Currently serving major domestic construction firms, Searchdog is expanding its technological applications into the manufacturing and semiconductor industries. The company also intends to use its newly secured funding to accelerate entry into international markets, specifically targeting the United States and Singapore.
