Romanian summer festivals draw crowds in July 2026

The MedievArtFest 2026 took place on July 18‑19 at Ardud Castle, attracting thousands of visitors for medieval reenactments, a national history symposium, a book launch and the final night show “CAPTIVI SAECULI”.

Electric Castle 2026 concluded on July 19 at Bonțida with headline acts The Cure and Dogstar, a live broadcast of the World Cup final, an appearance by Keanu Reeves, and a reported 63 000 attendees, while tickets for the 2027 edition were launched.
