Season 5 of German reality show “Prominent getrennt” launches with eight ex‑couples

The fifth edition of the German reality series Prominent getrennt began filming in South Africa and will feature eight former couples competing together in the “Villa der Verflossenen”. Among the participants are Aleks Petrovic and Vanessa Nwattu, former partners from Temptation Island VIP; Fabian and Tanina, who met on Too Hot to Handle; Richard Sternberg and Vanessa Brahimi, known from Das Sommerhaus der Normalos; and Mou and Vivien, who appeared on Temptation Island and Ex on the Beach. The show follows the pairs as they try to cooperate in challenges while navigating past conflicts.

Contestant Jessica Hnatyk, who returned with ex‑partner Germain Wolf, described the experience as “horrific”, criticizing the other cast members as “catastrophic” and “superficial”. She highlighted the South African location as the only positive aspect of the production and denied rumors of a flirt with Richard Sternberg, calling the accusations “eavesdropping” by Vanessa Brahimi.
