Seasonal activities and festivals scheduled for October

October offers various seasonal activities across different regions. In northern Vermont, the upland bird season has opened, though hunters face challenges such as thick foliage and warm temperatures caused by climate change.

In the Charlotte, North Carolina area, several community events are scheduled for October 2026. These include FabFest, a Beatles-themed festival featuring live music and memorabilia at Central Piedmont Community College and Knight Theater. Other events include the Charlotte Kids Fest at The Boardwalk at University City and the Concord International Festival in downtown Concord, which features live music, cultural displays, and international vendors.
