Seasonal citrus events announced in Miura and Fukuoka

Various citrus-related events are scheduled for late 2026 in Japan. In Miura City, mandarin orange picking season will run from October 15 to November 30, 2026. Participating orchards offer all-you-can-eat access and include approximately one kilogram of oranges as a souvenir. While orchards are open to all visitors on weekends and holidays, weekday access follows a rotation system that can be verified at local tourist information centers.

Additionally, a promotional fair for the ‘Kitahara Wase’ brand mandarin oranges from Fukuoka Prefecture will take place from October 23 to November 3, 2026. The event features specialty desserts, such as yogurt sundaes and tarts, at locations in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, and Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
