Seasonal Halloween attractions open across the United States

Various seasonal attractions and historic sites across the United States are opening for the Halloween season.

In Louisiana, several haunted houses and spooky events are operating throughout the state. In northwest Louisiana, Devil's Knot in Haughton is noted as a destination. Notably, the Shreveport market will not feature a large-scale haunted house at the Boardwalk this year, as Necromanor is hosting an alternative event for only a few nights.

In Indiana, the Indiana State Sanatorium in Rockville is offering seasonal tours. The historic site, which served as a tuberculosis hospital from 1908 to 1968, includes over 120,000 square feet of buildings and steam tunnels. Visitors can participate in guided flashlight tours for $40, self-guided day roams for $25, or private overnight paranormal investigations.
