Seasonal Halloween attractions open in Michigan and Colorado

Various historic locations are hosting seasonal Halloween events. In Westland, Michigan, the Eloise Asylum is entering its sixth season. The attraction utilizes the history of the former psychiatric hospital complex, which was the site of early medical developments such as shock therapy and one of the first X-rays. The experience includes two floors of special effects, escape rooms, and building tours, as well as an upcoming rock concert on October 30.

In Loveland, Colorado, the historic Rialto Theater will host ghost tours on October 25 and 26. The event offers an alternative to traditional haunted houses by focusing on the cultural and potentially paranormal history of the downtown landmark.
