Seasonal harvest festivals scheduled across Japan for October 2026

Various seasonal harvest festivals and experiential tourism events are scheduled across Japan for October 2026.

In Minami-Awaji, Michi-no-Eki Uzushio will host its ‘Autumn Uzushio Grand Harvest Festival’ from October 10 to October 25. The event celebrates the one-year anniversary of the facility's renewal and features seasonal gourmet items such as Awaji chicken and Naruto lotus root dishes. Activities include a guided tour near the Onaruto Bridge, sweet potato harvesting games, and shrimp fishing.

In Ukiha City, Fukuoka, the ‘Fairfield by Marriott Michi-no-Eki Project’ will hold its third seasonal event on October 18. Focused on the Taishu persimmon, the program offers guests of the Fairfield by Marriott Fukuoka Ukiha the opportunity to participate in a fruit harvesting experience at Nakajima Farm, followed by a workshop to create custom fruit danishes at Kawasemi Danish.
