Seattle Kraken announce front office hire and leadership updates

The Seattle Kraken have announced several organizational changes involving both their front office and on-ice leadership. The team has hired former Philadelphia Flyers General Manager Chuck Fletcher to serve in a senior advisory role to General Manager Jason Botterill. Fletcher previously served as GM for the Minnesota Wild from 2009 to 2018 and held a role with the New Jersey Devils during the 2024-25 season.

On the ice, the Kraken have updated their leadership group for the upcoming season. Defensemen Brandon Montour and Vince Dunn have been named alternate captains. Jordan Eberle will continue as team captain, joined by alternate captains Matty Beniers and Adam Larsson. These appointments fill vacancies left by former players Jaden Schwartz and Yanni Gourde.
