Seattle Kraken announce new regional broadcast plan for 2026–27 season

The Seattle Kraken have announced a new regional broadcast plan for the 2026–27 regular season through the Kraken Hockey Network (KHN). The team will produce 77 games that will be distributed via local free over-the-air television stations and streamed live on Prime Video.

The broadcast territory will cover Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Alaska. To facilitate the over-the-air distribution, the Kraken have partnered with TEGNA, Gray Media, Cox Media, and Morgan Murphy Media. Specific local stations include KONG and KING 5 in the Seattle market, KGW in Portland, KREM and KSKN in Spokane, KTVB in Boise, and various stations across Alaska.

The KHN broadcast team will feature John Forslund on play-by-play, JT Brown as color analyst, and Piper Shaw as rinkside reporter. The network will handle production for all non-national regular-season games and the first round of the playoffs.
