Seattle man sentenced to 17 years for dispensary robbery spree
Michael Keylon Miller-Jimerson, a 26-year-old Seattle man, has been sentenced to 17 years in prison for his leadership role in a series of violent robberies targeting marijuana dispensaries and banks.
Between December 2021 and June 2022, Miller-Jimerson orchestrated a crime spree involving the recruitment and arming of juveniles to carry out take-over style robberies. During one of these incidents, a worker was killed by a juvenile participant. The robberies spanned multiple locations, including Seattle, Tacoma, and Auburn.
In addition to providing firearms and acting as a getaway driver, Miller-Jimerson was involved in robberies at Greenworks, Greenfire, Zips Dispensary, Lucid Cannabis, and Bakeree. U.S. District Judge Lauren King stated during the sentencing that a lengthy sentence was necessary to protect the community from the violent spree.
