Seattle Seahawks face offensive struggles amid trade and roster discussions

The Seattle Seahawks are facing offensive challenges that have led to discussions regarding roster improvements. To support quarterback Sam Darnold, who has faced increased pressure and interceptions, some analysts suggest a trade for Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley. A proposed deal involves sending a conditional third-round pick to Philadelphia for the veteran running back.

Additionally, the team's offensive struggles have highlighted the underutilization of tight end AJ Barner. Despite being one of the more targeted pass-catchers through six games, Barner has seen his role shift from the line of scrimmage to the backfield as a fullback, contributing to an offense that has struggled to find rhythm.
