Seattle Seahawks hold tryouts for six offensive players
The Seattle Seahawks held tryouts for six offensive players on Friday as the team seeks depth for its active roster and practice squad. The group of players included three wide receivers, a guard, a tackle, and a tight end.
Among the participants were wide receiver Chandler Brayboy, a former Jacksonville Jaguars player and FCS All-American from Elon University, and Marcus Sanders Jr., who previously played for Georgia Southern. Other players involved in the workouts were wide receiver Luke Floriea, guard Evan Beerntsen, tackle Tristan Leigh, and tight end Layne Pryor.
Brayboy, noted for his speed and potential as a kick returner, previously spent time on the Jaguars' practice squad. Layne Pryor, a former tight end for the Houston Texans practice squad, is being considered as a potential fullback candidate due to his physical testing numbers.
