Seattle Seahawks' Leonard Williams seeks advice on title defense
Following the Seattle Seahawks' 29-13 victory over the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX at Levi's Stadium, veteran defensive lineman Leonard Williams is preparing for the challenges of a title defense.
Williams sought advice from several NFL legends regarding the difficulty of maintaining championship success. He consulted with his father-in-law, Pro Football Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott, as well as former Seahawks players Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor. Williams noted that while they represent different eras of football, the consensus was that the road ahead is difficult and requires the team to “turn the page quickly.”
The Seahawks are scheduled to begin their title defense on September 9 against the New England Patriots.
