Seattle Seahawks place Bud Clark and Mason Richman on injured reserve
The Seattle Seahawks have placed rookie safety Bud Clark and offensive lineman Mason Richman on injured reserve, effectively ending their 2026 seasons. The injuries occurred during a preseason game against the Tennessee Titans in Nashville.
Bud Clark, a second-round draft pick from TCU, suffered a broken ankle during the first quarter. Head coach Mike Macdonald noted that Clark had been performing well and was expected to compete for a starting role. Mason Richman, a seventh-round selection, sustained a leg injury during the opening series.
The team also faces setbacks following a knee injury to wide receiver Jake Bobo during a joint practice with the Titans earlier in the week.
