Seattle Seahawks release Trevon Diggs but plan practice squad signing

Seahawks general manager John Schneider addressed the decision, noting that Diggs arrived late to camp and is still in the process of getting ramped up. Schneider highlighted Diggs' recent preseason performance, where he recorded one tackle and one interception against the Kansas City Chiefs, as a reason for the team's continued interest.

Schneider emphasized the importance of maintaining depth at the cornerback position, stating that the organization wants players who are familiar with the system and whom coaches feel comfortable elevating for games.
