Seattle Seahawks sign running back Robert Henry Jr. from Commanders

The Seattle Seahawks have signed running back Robert Henry Jr. from the Washington Commanders' practice squad to their active roster. Henry, an undrafted free agent from UTSA, previously earned First-Team All-American Conference honors and was a former NJCAA Offensive Player of the Year.

To accommodate Henry, the Seahawks waived safety A. J. Finley. Additionally, the team added running back Dontae McMillan to their practice squad, placing Jacardia Wright on the practice squad injured reserve. These moves follow the Seahawks' decision not to sign Joe Mixon after he completed a workout and physical process with the team.
