Seattle Seahawks sign wide receiver Malick Meiga

The Seattle Seahawks have signed wide receiver Malick Meiga to a one-year deal. The Montreal-born receiver, who was a second-round selection by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the 2026 CFL Draft, will initially join the team’s practice squad.

Meiga is currently on the commissioner’s exempt list while finalizing his work visa. Prior to joining Seattle, he had a brief stint with the Carolina Panthers, appearing in the Pro Football Hall of Fame game where he recorded one reception for 13 yards.

Meiga played collegiately at Penn State and Coastal Carolina University. During his college career, he recorded 35 receptions for 432 yards and two touchdowns across 51 games.
