Seattle Seahawks visit Dimmitt Middle School for NFL program
The South Kitsap Wolves boys water polo team lost their season opener 20-5 against the Puyallup Vikings. Despite the loss, head coach Marc Anunta noted the program has its largest roster to date with 32 student-athletes.
In girls' soccer, the Sequim Wolves secured a 1-1 draw against Nathan Hale, highlighted by a first varsity goal from freshman Emme Henrikson. In a separate match, Hoquiam defeated Forks 3-2 following two second-half goals by Jade Blair.
Additionally, the Seattle Seahawks visited Dimmitt Middle School for a panel discussion featuring former players Jordan Babineaux and Lofa Tatupu. The event, part of the NFL’s Character Playbook program, was livestreamed nationally to discuss responsibility and friendship.
