Seattle Seahawks receiver Jake Bobo placed on season-ending IR
During a joint preseason practice in Nashville, the Seattle Seahawks and Tennessee Titans faced both competitive action and significant injury setbacks. Seahawks wide receiver Jake Bobo was placed on season-ending injured reserve after sustaining a serious right knee injury while attempting a catch. Head coach Mike Macdonald described the injury as looking like a long-term issue. To fill Bobo’s roster spot, the Seahawks signed wide receiver Julian Hicks.
In addition to Bobo, the Seahawks reported that second-year receiver Tory Horton will also be sidelined for an unspecified period. The practice session also saw offensive lineman Abe Lucas leave the field with a trainer.
On the field, the joint session featured notable performances, including a pick-six by Seahawks safety Ty Okada and an interception return for a touchdown by Titans cornerback Alontae Taylor. The practice also drew attention due to reports that Tennessee restricted Seattle fans from wearing team jerseys, allegedly requiring them to wear their gear inside out to enter the facility.
