Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jake Bobo placed on injured reserve

The Seattle Seahawks are facing significant roster setbacks following multiple serious injuries during preseason activities. Wide receiver Jake Bobo has been placed on injured reserve after suffering a torn ACL during a joint practice session with the Tennessee Titans. Bobo, who recently re-signed with the team on a two-year, $5.5 million contract, is expected to miss the entire 2026 season.

In addition to Bobo's injury, safety Bud Clark sustained a broken ankle during a preseason game against the Titans. Clark, a second-round draft pick, was carted off the field and is expected to miss several months of play.

Teammate Rashid Shaheed emphasized the impact of Bobo's absence, describing him as the ‘heartbeat of the offense’ due to his contributions as a blocker and on special teams, despite limited statistical receiving production.
