Jaxon Smith-Njigba ranks No. 5 on NFL Top 100 list
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been ranked No. 5 on the NFL’s Top 100 Players of 2026 list. This marks his first appearance on the player-voted list following a historic 2025 season where he won the AP Offensive Player of the Year award, earned first-team All-Pro honors, and helped the Seahawks win Super Bowl LX. During that campaign, he recorded 119 receptions for 1,793 yards, the latter being the eighth-highest single-season total in league history.
Smith-Njigba is the first Seahawks wide receiver to reach the Top 10 in the history of the ranking. His inclusion follows a massive four-year, $168.6 million contract extension, making him the highest-paid receiver in the league.
In roster news, former Michigan State wide receiver Montorie Foster Jr. has secured a spot on the Seahawks’ initial 53-man roster. Foster, who gained attention on ‘Hard Knocks’ after working as a substitute teacher and real estate agent while recovering from injury, earned the position due to depth issues at the wide receiver position.
