Seaya raises €600 million for new European tech growth fund

Spanish venture capital firm Seaya has reached a €600 million first close for its new growth fund, Seaya Nova, just six months after its launch. The fund is designed to support European technology companies in their growth stages, specifically targeting Series B to D rounds.

Investors in the fund include the European Investment Fund (EIF) through the European Tech Champions Initiative (ETCI), alongside various institutional investors, corporations, and family offices. With this new vehicle, Seaya’s total assets under management have reached €1.2 billion.

Seaya Nova will invest between €20 million and €50 million per company. The fund is led by Seaya founder and Managing Partner Beatriz González, alongside Vinoth Jayakumar, who joins as Managing Partner of Seaya Nova. To strengthen its European presence, the firm is also opening a new office in London to complement its Madrid headquarters.
