Sebastian Croft discusses heartbreak and debut EP

Actor and musician Sebastian Croft, performing under the name Bash Croft, has spoken about the personal heartbreak that inspired his debut EP, ‘The Great Forever’. Croft described the experience as his first major heartbreak, noting that the end of a long-term relationship served as the catalyst for his return to music.

While Croft has not publicly confirmed the identity of his former partner, reports from British media outlets suggest the relationship was with his ‘Heartstopper’ co-star Joe Locke. These reports claim the two shared a nearly three-year relationship that ended via a phone call in 2023 while Croft was performing in a production in Chichester.

Croft explained that the title of his EP stems from a phrase his former partner used to say during their time together. He noted that while he was initially angry about how the relationship ended, the underlying reason for the split was more painful.
