Sebastian Fundora defends WBC title against Ermal Hadribeaj

WBC junior middleweight champion Sebastian Fundora is set to defend his title against undefeated mandatory challenger Ermal Hadribeaj this Saturday at The Chelsea inside The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.

Fundora, known for his 6’6” stature and aggressive fighting style, has expressed confidence in his ability to counter Hadribeaj, even if the challenger attempts to fight on the inside. While critics and his own father have suggested he box more cautiously, Fundora remains willing to engage in close-range brawls.

Hadribeaj, nicknamed the ‘Albanian Sniper,’ has earned comparisons to Vasiliy Lomachenko due to his precise movement and footwork. He intends to use calculated angles and movement to overcome Fundora’s significant reach advantage. A victory for Fundora could position him for a shot at the undisputed super welterweight title, potentially involving a matchup with the winner of a proposed Jaron Ennis and Josh Kelly bout.
