Sebastian Karpiel-Bułecka, the leader of the band Zakopower, has expressed his discomfort with the celebrity lifestyle and the show business industry. In a recent interview, he stated that he finds the environment lacks authenticity, noting that many people wear masks and do not show their true selves. He prefers focusing on his creative work, including music and his professional background in architecture, rather than attending industry events.

Karpiel-Bułecka also clarified details regarding his identity. While widely known by his stage name, his legal name in official documents is Łukasz Sebastian Karpiel. He explained that 'Bułecka' is a family nickname characteristic of the Podhale region, used to distinguish his family from others with the same surname. He comes from a family with deep musical roots in the Podhale region, including his father Bolesław Karpiel-Bułecka and his uncle Stanisław Karpiel-Bułecka.
