Sebastian Rode to join Eintracht Frankfurt coaching staff

Eintracht Frankfurt has accelerated the integration of club legend Sebastian Rode into the professional team. The 36-year-old former captain is set to make his debut on the coaching bench this Sunday during the match against Hamburger SV.

Rode is currently participating in a trainee program to gain experience across various club departments. His move to the coaching staff was originally scheduled for February, but the timeline has been moved forward following the departure of sporting director Markus Krösche. This vacancy has resulted in expanded strategic and organizational responsibilities for Timmo Hardung, prompting the club to bring Rode closer to the professional squad to support head coach Adi Hütter.
