Sebastian Vettel open to future Formula 1 role
Four-time Formula 1 world champion Sebastian Vettel has indicated he is open to a future role within the sport, though he is not actively seeking a comeback as a driver.
Speaking to BBC 5 Live, Vettel noted that while he is not currently contacting teams or distributing his CV, he remains deeply interested in the direction of Formula 1. He specifically highlighted his interest in the sport's upcoming regulatory changes and its commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2030.
Since retiring from professional racing at the end of 2022 following his tenure with Aston Martin, Vettel has focused on his family and running a small farm. Despite his retirement, he maintains a connection to the paddock through demonstration runs in historic cars, such as Michael Schumacher’s 2002 Ferrari at Monza.
